- Red Crag Memorial Museum: This museum in Hongyan (Red Crag) Village near the Hualong Bridge commemorates the revolutionary activities of the Communists before national liberation in 1949. It was the office of the Eighth Route Army in Chongqing form 1939 to 1946. Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, Ye Jianying, and other revolutionary leaders once had their residences here. Mao Zedong also lived here during the Communist-Kuomintang negotiations in Chongqing in 1945. The relics and photographs on display at the exhibition hall reflect the revolutionary struggles of the Chinese Communists during that period. Address: No.52, Hongyan Village, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China.

- A Private Folk Carving Museum (Beijing) - Situated on Liulichang, Beijing's antique street is the architecturally important Songtangzhai Folk Carving Museum. Privately owned by manager Li Songtang's family, this gallery is a two-story building from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and is the best-preserved architecture in the Liulichang area.
- Zhan Tianyou Museum: The Zhan Tianyou Museum at Badaling stands at the highest point along the rail line between Beijing and Zhangjiakou. Two stories are devoted to the life and contributions of Zhan Tianyou (1861-1919), a prominent railway engineer in Chinese history. Zhan helped build the first Chinese constructed railroad -- the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Line from 1905 to 1909. He designed a double-pronged rail system and employed the "shaft construction method" to excavate tunnels. His contributions to railroad construction on a particularly tricky section of the line have inspired engineers and workers ever since. Add: Badaling Scenic Spot, Yanqing County, Beijing, China.
