Travel to Croatia by sea

Ordinary ferry lines connect the Italian ports (Venice, Trieste, Ancona, Pescara and Bari) with the Croatian ports. A daily ferry line connects Rijeka and Split during the whole year. Then three times a week the line continues for Dubrovnik. The ship-ferry that departs from Rijeka toward the south coast is an excellent solution for drivers that can in this way avoid a fatiguing guide along the beautiful coast. If you have arrived from a distant country, you can relax on the ship until the arrival to the destination of your vacation. All the ports, also those on the islands, are accessible to the ordinary ferry lines. During the high season there is increased navigation frequency.
