East of Italy, across the Adriatic Sea is the outstanding land of Croatia. As well as the mainland, there are 1,187 small islands off the seashore, which too belong to Croatia.
With its fascinating mix of architectural and cultural influences and one of Europe’s most striking coastlines, Croatia is one of the loveliest and uncorrupted landscapes in Europe.
Planning when to go to see Croatia – April to September – every time is an exceptional time. The sea temperature in April is not suitable for swim but you will enjoy warm and clear skies southern of Split and specially on Hvar and Korcula islands. Accommodation costs are low but don’t forget that numerous hotels and summer camps will be however closed.
May and June are the good months to enjoy Croatia. These months are first-class for all kinds of outdoor activities. Italian and German tourists have yet to come, costs are however average and most of the hotels, hostels and camps are open.
July and August are the dearest months to visit Croatia. The places like Krk, Istria, Rab, Bol, Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik can become unpleasantly crowded. The advantage of these calendar months, considered “high season” are the additional boat lines that presents you possibility to travel to some other little places and islands, remote from those over crowded destinations.
I personally consider September the most satisfactory calendar month to research Croatia. It’s not so hot, the prices are at least 30 % more middle-level and the crowds are nearly over as kids return to school. This is the month of fruits like figs and grapes. October is sometimes overly cold for camping out but the weather condition could be however grateful for cruising and the private boards are on hand everywhere and reasonably priced.
